mmmMMMmmm : the weekend
Who the fuck do you think you are?. Get the fuck outta here!!!. Just because you saw me ONCE at Bamboo and I was drunk enough to talk to you doesn’t mean we’re friends. And doesn’t mean you can call me and beg for me to get you in when the place is full. Yeah I know you know I know a few of the guys there but they won’t let YOU in for free just because you know me. And then you SMS me an hour later asking where I am?. I’m at home, in bed and not doing shit about your current situation that leaves you standing OUTSIDE a club on a cold Saturday night. Get yourself on a guestlist you fucking loser.
So BANG!!!...now I’m fucked and I feel like a fucking idiot. It felt as if I was just cruising along. I knew I was over but not enough to gain attention. Well that’s what I hoped. I always hope and as attentive as I was I didn’t see them. I always see them, except this time. I should’ve taken a different route but something attracted me to the M4. The easy drive and the chance to open up the throttle. They got me on radar at South Wentworthville and it wasn’t until Church St. exit when the red and blue lights started to flash in my rear view mirror. That’s 5km for them to catch up. They took their time. So there I am, parked on the side of a highway with the highway patrol car sitting nicely behind me. That’s the time when you have all the time in the world to think about what you done while they process your licence. Why you did it, how you could of avoided it and the conversation you had 30 minutes earlier with your mate about licence suspension. The officer brings over his radar gun. “No officer, I had no idea how fast I was going. 120, maybe 130”. He presses some buttons on the gun and shows the speed. 145km. The speed limit was 90km. “Mate, it’s not 5 or 10 km over. It’s 55. Slow the fuck down!” he says. I was going to mention how fast I was going the other weekend but didn’t think that would have been a good idea. I wasn’t surprised that I was suspended. Suspended immediately was what got me. I have to literally hand my licence over at the police station today where they’ll keep it for 6 months. Immediate suspension?. If you go 45km over the limit it’s immediate. I tried my best not to look phased. I tried even harder when he handed over the $1550 fine. Funnily enough I had an interview with a government agency earlier in the day and they asked me about my driving record.
RIDE ON THE PEACE TRAIN

a more than casual drinker and a regular smoker, i enjoy eating breakfast at cafes on saturday usually around 1pm. i have an opinion on everything and am way too sarcastic for my own good which often instigates physical violence. these are my thoughts.
