I look like a junkie. My eyes and nose are red and I've got dry lips so it looks like I've been on the junk all weekend. 12 degrees C, but that's not all. Winds blowing west at 21 knots make things worse. People clutch their coffee cups and/or drink their cans of V/Red Bull. How the fuck do you manage to drink energy drinks in the morning?. No wonder my junkie symptoms go un-noticed and you feel like shit before 10am.

As for the weekend entertainment coverage, I was drawn between the Logies and Big Brother. I was satisfied with Channel 10 once Elise and Tilly had been evicted. The biggest fucking posers ever to enter the house. If they're the centre of attention on the outside world her social group must either be a bunch of misled teenagers or those Aussie guys that have a thing for little asian girls. Gretel's fake smile and old age also deserve eviction from Network Ten, following in the footsteps of Bert Newton.

The Red Carpet in Melbourne wasn't too interesting either with a number of unknown, underage girls at the event who's friends with someone that knows someone who's slept with Shane Warne (which I must say is doing what he fucking damn well should be doing) and the variety of dresses ranging from Collette Dinnigan, Collette Dinnigan and some fantastic numbers from Collette Dinnigan showing the creativity and originality of Australian actresses. Rove didn't win gold and which he fucking shouldn't. He's won it for the past 3 years which shows how lacking our entertainment industry is and once Home and Away stop dominating all the actor and actress categories and all of McLeod's daughters finally die we might see some quality talent come out of the works. But for now, I'll stick with Foxtel even though The ASTRA awards put on a showcase of retards and misfits that somehow have the ability to win awards.
